I was never a fan of ventriloquism, but Terry Fator changed my mind. The way he blended his ventriloquism skills with his musical ability perfectly made me think the character he holds in his hand had come to life and directly entertained me.
Another factor of the show that stunts me is the way he seamlessly switches between different personalities. One moment, he was a true diva; the next moment, he turned into a rock ‘n’ roll legend like they were not 2 separate entities. Like… How? With only 3 puppets–3 characters, Terry Fator has delivered a lively and thrilling atmosphere like no other show can.
Terry Fator show will make you find yourself laughing, singing along, and maybe even getting picked on (in a funny way) by one of his cute puppet. Just keep in mind that this is not a typical puppet show. So be prepared for one of the best nights of your life.

What we like
Excellent stage presence. I love the way Fator controls the stage and travels between the audiences. He looks like a shining star on the stage (technically, he is), but down the stage, he makes us feel so special and engaging.
Top-notch ventriloquist. Fator’s talent in ventriloquism makes the show amusing from start to finish. I cannot stress this enough, but I’m completely speechless at the way he just casually switches personalities.
A unique blend of talents. The combination of ventriloquism, music, and comedy is uniquely satisfying to watch. Not only does he ace as a ventriloquist, but he can also perform a wide range of music beautifully.
What we don’t like
- Puppet humor. Puppet humor is not for everyone. Some enjoy it; some find it not hilarious at all. Not to mention those who have a secret fear of puppets. Therefore, consider twice if puppet humor is really a means of entertainment for you.
- Outdated jokes. Terry Fator is an excellent impressionist but not exactly a brilliant comedian. I often find his jokes are kind of outdated and come from the 2010s.
- Repetitive acts. Some might find that the show is at its best in the first hour. Then everything’s going south. It’s kinda repetitive with the same type of jokes, singing, and impressions.

Yes, Terry Fator is worth watching! Terry’s ability to bring his characters to life is truly amazing. I still remember how Winston the Turtle and Vicki the Cougar had me laughing out loud. What a moment to experience! If you are looking for an experience packed with joy, music, and puppet humor, Terry Fator show is a fantastic choice.
