About the Show

Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean reunite in Las Vegas to celebrate 30 years of The Score with a landmark night of hip-hop history.

Some albums have a few good songs. Then there’s The Score. Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean reunite at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas to celebrate 30 years of the landmark Fugees album, bringing together two of the artists who helped reshape ’90s hip-hop with a mix of rap, soul, reggae and R&B. Expect a set built around songs that still sound remarkably fresh—and probably a few moments that make you wonder how three decades went by so fast.

The reunion is the real headline here, but the résumé is pretty hard to ignore. The Score won two Grammy Awards, while Hill went on to win five Grammys for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, including Album of the Year; Jean carved out his own solo career and earned additional acclaim as a producer and songwriter. For a Las Vegas concert, this one comes with genuine hip-hop history attached—and the kind of catalog that rewards longtime fans and curious newcomers alike.
